Heckbarley is our individually designed, detached cottage, situated in the heart of the village of unspoiltEnnerdale Bridge. Bright and airy inside, it is comfortably furnished and well equipped, with fell views and a pleasing rear outlook over fields to the River Ehen. Enclosed South facing garden. Lounge has Sky TV . We have Sky Sports 1 to 5, Sky Movies , along with Sky Box Sets including Game of Thrones and Others In lounge also mixed fuel burning stove. New bathroom, also ensuite shower. Pub and children's adventure playground just down the road. Situated within the Lake District National Park, 1 mile from tranquil Ennerdale Water - the only one of the larger lakes with no road along its shoreline. Strolls along the shoreline or walks up into the high fells. Also cycling, riding, fishing, golf. Visit the landscapes of Beatrix Potter: Loweswater, Crummock Water, Buttermere within easy reach; historic towns of Cockermouth and Whitehaven within 10 miles. A bonus is that its only a short drive to the coast at St. Bees with its sandy beach and clifftop walks. We have internet access.
