A peaceful cabin built with reclaimed old house pieces, set in the midst of beautiful farmland. A full front porch and screened in back porch with lovely views and convenience to the Nashville TN and Bowling Green KY areas. Bird songs abound! Sit by the large stocked pond and feed the fish at sunset! Long term and corporate rentals available! Although new this house appears to be a century old, it is beautifully reconstructed from the parts of an old home place. You will feel like you are in an old farm homestead, but with modern conveniences. Surrounded by farmland, we have opened our guest cottage to those who like privacy and convenience. The cottage is a complete home for you to enjoy. It is not far from the main log house and the beautiful dairy barn, where we now reconstruct furniture and home decor from the wood of beautiful disassembled barns. Just 8 miles off the interstate, the beautiful country drive feels far removed from hustle and bustle. You can even enjoy our peacock, Charlie, and overlook the pond from your front porch rocker while you are visiting. Don't even bother buying bottled water. Our cottage has its own reverse osmosis water system! There is a smart TV for you to stream from your own networks. We will be available to help with any questions you might have, but will respect your privacy completely. We are here to accommodate your wishes. Beautiful farmland, just down the road from Amish stores. (Watch out for the horse drawn buggies as you wind through the country hills). Convenient to interstate I65, 40 minutes from all that Nashville TN has to offer, 15 minutes from historic downtown Franklin KY, and 20 minutes from Bowling Green KY, Corvette Plant and Museum, Shaker Village Museum, Kentucky Railway Museum, (Hidden by Airbnb) AC, Western Kentucky University and Lost River Cave, as well as close to the Mammoth Cave National Park. We are not near public transportation. You will need your own transportation. This is a working barn, so you will hear saws from time to time on weekdays and might hear the peacock calling. There are roosters and chickens free ranging as well. The box fan in your room can drown out both if you do not wish to be bothered. Your cottage is located behind the main log house and to the side of the old dairy barn and workshop and hay barn.
