Apartment 65B Thurso, Caithness - Highland Getaway

The Apartment is based in Central Thurso and new on the market. It is finished to a high standard, giving spacious family living with everything needed for a comfortable stay, whether it is for a work trip or a holiday. The Apartment is 19.9 miles from John O Groats and Wick is 21.1 miles from the Apartment. Easy access to the ferry in Scrabster should you wish to visit Orkney or the Shetlands. Street parking is available. NO SMOKING Quite spacious, two good sized bedrooms. Bathroom only has a large shower. Large lounge with a three seater and two seater settee. The whole apartment is available to guests. There is some outside space laid to gravel but this is not level and not accessible for people with some disabilities. The outside space is shared with three other Apartments but is very seldom used. There is no seating outside. Some added photos on the listing are of the views in the surrounding area and NOT the views from the flat however. There is lot of scope for fishing and Thurso is very popular spot for surfing in the area. I will try and meet all my guests but as I am working full time, that is not always possible and a key box is available for you to access the keys. My mobile number will be to hand for all guests should they require anything. If possible, I will meet guests personally or my husband Graham will be able to meet and also help should there be any problems. One month long stays will incur an extra £20 per week for clean towels and bedding for one room and an additional £10 if the second room is occupied, to be paid directly to the host. Thurso has several restaurants, pubs, one cinema and a nightclub. (Covid restrictions currently applies). There are lovely walks, also a good sandy beachfront and a gorgeous beach at Dunnet bay. The Castle of Mey, home of the Queen Mother is close by. Bus transport is available. A very safe town with lovely friendly people.
