The Gin Trap Inn is a traditional and cosy 17th-century coaching inn and has a long and colourful history. It has been a public house since 1668 and the date 1667 can be found on one of the walls of the former farmhouse. We have 100 different gins for you to try whilst you're here including our very own Gin Trap gin. Please note: Both bedrooms can be either a super king or 2 singles. Perfect for families, friends or a couples retreat. The original Brewhouse to the coaching inn is now a gorgeous, dog friendly, two bedroom, two bathroom cottage with its own lounge and kitchen. Our idea of heaven! We believe the beauty is in the detail, the cottage is one of a kind, rustic and truly unique, it holds the quintessential touches of any boutique pub cottage. It includes en-suites with fluffy towels, robes and complimentary toiletries. Tea & Coffee making facilities, hair dryers, flat screen TVs and delicious homemade treats on arrival! We pride ourselves on using only the finest Egyptian Cotton linen, extremely high quality mattresses and plump feather bedding (hypo-allergenic bedding available upon request). You'll not only be surrounded by countryside, rustic luxury but you'll have the best night's sleep ever.... we promise! Doggy friendly We are a stones throw away for the famous Peddars way foot bath. Steeped in history, Peddars Way follows a Roman road built along the line of an even older trackway. We are also no more than a 5 minute drive away from the beautiful North Norfolk coast, hosting miles of glorious beach, fantastic eateries & watering holes of plenty. Why not visit Sandringham house, in it's regal glory, you can explore the Royal families Christmas hideaway, whilst getting a bite to eat or doing some shopping in its famous grounds. We are a small village & do not have any public transport. Driving is essential. When you get here, you can leave your car & explore the countryside on foot & be amazed by the beautiful landscape
