Wifi and Virgin Media package including Sky Sports and box sets. This annexe, next to a snicket, adjoins a Victorian detached house - formerly a Methodist manse - inhabited by the host. It has been converted from a scullery/wash house and extended to include a bright modern orangery with underfloor heating. The kitchenette has a small fridge, microwave oven, toaster and electric frying pan and looks out onto the private courtyard with patio heater, firepit and seating. Access to a shared garden is via patio doors to the rear of the annexe and guests have full use of the patio with barbecue, large grassed area and outdoor dining and seating. Guests have access to the entire annexe; kitchen, shower room, living/sleeping area, private courtyard, car parking space and back garden/patio. Mirfield is a small friendly town in West Yorkshire with all the amenities needed to make your stay interesting and enjoyable. With strong Bronte and Luddite connections, Mirfield has many historic buildings, a picturesque marina and numerous walking trails. It is also the birthplace of Patrick Stewart of Star Trek Fame! Wine bars, pubs, shops, two art galleries, a library and several cafes and international restaurants are on the doorstep. The property is near Mirfield Showground which hosts an annual agricultural show on the 3rd Sunday in August each year. On the other side of the Showground is the canal and towpath with lots of opportunities for walks and occasional narrow boat trips. With excellent rail transport links to and from Leeds, Huddersfield, Wakefield, Bradford, Manchester and even London it really is an ideal location for a visit to the North of England. Snicketty Bottom is a five minute walk from the railway station with a regular service to and from Leeds, Huddersfield, Manchester and even London. It has good transport links to the M1 and M62 motorways and is an hours drive form both Leeds/Bradford and Manchester airports. We can provide one private parking space for guests.
