Alderholt Working Water Mill

This is a working water mill, using local grain for wholemeal flour the main house has two bedrooms 1 x twin and 1 x double both with ensuite shower rooms nicely decorated comfortable beds hospitality tray T.V radio/ alarm clocks dogs are welcome at our discretion due to the very close proximity of the river no children under 8 yrs private fishing on site lovely wildlife gardens with lots of seating just follow the sun Bread made with our own freshly milled flour a speciality breakfast included We are on site to help with suggestions for places to visit locally. plenty of information to help with walks cycle rides horse riding golf etc etc We are located approx 2 miles west of the town of Fordingbridge on the northwest corner of the New Forest Salisbury Bournemouth wimborne also within easy distance although a car is advisable there are buses available from Fordingbridge leave the car in the long stay car park and venture out on the Hop on hop off bus to explore the new Forest buses into Salisbury and Bournemouth leave at regular intervals
