You will find all that’s needed to take the stress away from your stay. A king-sized bed, with luxurious 400 TC Egyptian cotton bedding. There is a fully equipped kitchenette with a butler sink, convection hob, toaster, kettle and microwave. You will have your own personal fire pit by your door and a wood burner inside the hut. Stay in the 2nd of our 2 finely curated shepherd huts in the grounds of Old King William in Stody; minutes from Holt and some of the best beaches on the planet. Enjoy the use of our entire 1 acre site with views over the surrounding Glaven Valley conservation are and AONB. Our beautiful hand made, wood fired hot tub and the wood burner can be fired up for your arrival on request with wood supplied for the first nights use. For subsequent nights, a basket of wood, firelighters and kindling is available for £10. Alternatively you can source your own locally. You will find a complimentary welcome hamper on your arrival with breakfast provisions, enough for 2 people. This includes milk; bread; croissants; cereal; bacon; orange juice; butter and jam. We are proud to be a dog-friendly property and would be happy to accommodate your small and well behaved pet providing they stay off our lovely white sheets and on lead. Parking When you arrive at Old King William, we will direct you to the site next door. There is a gravel parking bed to the right of the site entrance gate. Please leave your car here and make your way to Biddy, the grey hut at the lower end of the paddock. Stody is a historic and unspoilt village in the heart of the Glaven Valley and minutes from the North Norfolk coast. The site is situated in the grounds of The Old King William; a 17th Century residence and former public house. The local dog walks through the Glaven Valley are breathtaking but they are via permitted paths; Roe deer, pheasants and rabbits are abundant so please keep dogs on a lead. If you’d prefer to let them run wild, we are a hop and a skip from the coast with some of the best beaches on the planet. We are also very close to the famous Georgian market town of Holt (10 minutes drive) and in walking distance of the much loved Hunny (Hunworth) Bell. Whilst there is excellent 4G, the Wifi doesn’t extend quite to the hut itself. Please enquire, should you need the Wifi password in order to download anything from our property. We have a second hut on the other side of the site called Magwitch. Whilst this still allows for a huge amount of space and privacy, please respect their space.
