Bridgeway View is a thoughtfully refurbished 4-bed stone-built 1st and 2nd floor townhouse with private entrance. Tucked away in a quiet courtyard off the High St in the picturesque village of Pateley Bridge it's equipped with everything you'll need. With separate living & dining rooms it offers plenty of space for all the family. Ideally located close to a wonderful range of independent shops, pubs & eating places it's a perfect base for exploring the glorious Yorkshire Dales & beyond. Our light and spacious centrally-heated home is located above an independent art gallery in the heart of Pateley Bridge. It is part of a traditional stone-built 18th century building and has recently been refurbished to a high standard. A flight of external stone steps with handrail leads to the entrance door and a large living room with bay window, comfy sofas, built-in bookcase and storage space for boots and shoes. There's a 43" LED TV with Netflix and DVD player with loads of DVD's too! From the living room, a few more stairs lead you to a landing with access to the dining room with modern oak table and seating for six, along with a comfortable sofa. Leading directly from the dining room is the fully-fitted kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. There's a 7-burner gas range, ideal for those home-cooked family meals, microwave and a fabulous American-style fridge freezer. You won't be disappointed with cupboard space - there are plentiful wall cupboards and a full-height larder unit. The generously-sized contemporary bathroom has a shower over the bath and ample storage space. Bedroom one has a lovely king-size bed, built-in wardrobes and a compact en-suite complete with corner shower, sink and toilet. Bedroom 4 has a comfy single bed, wardrobe/drawer unit and window overlooking the courtyard below Further carpeted stairs lead to bedrooms 2 and 3. Bedroom 2 has a super-king sized bed and built in wardrobe. Bedroom 3 has a single sleigh bed and built-in wardrobe. All our bed-linen is high quality Egyptian cotton and each guest is supplied with a bath and hand towel with all laundry included in the price. For the comfort of our guests we don't accept pets and are a non-smoking property. The property is tucked away in a courtyard above an independent art gallery. It has its own private access via external stone steps, not shared with anybody else. Outside there is a small sheltered sitting area with table and chairs along with covered secure space for cycle or pushchair storage. A week or so before your stay I'll contact you with directions and access details - it's a keypad system so really straightforward! I'll also let you have my mobile number should you need to contact me for any reason before or during your stay. If you'd prefer me to be at the property when you arrive, just let me know. We're always happy to answer any questions and offer recommendations. Our property is located in the centre of Pateley Bridge in Nidderdale, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with only a short walk to restaurants, pubs serving delicious food and a whole array of shops including award-winning butchers, two bakeries, delicatessen, fishmongers, Spar convenience store and pizza takeaway. The Nidderdale Leisure Centre with swimming pool and fitness centre is just 10 minutes walk up the road. Just 5 minutes walk to a lovely children's playground, bowling green and bandstand. Wonderful walks from your doorstep in beautiful Nidderdale. Pateley Bridge is just 25 minutes drive from the A1 so easily accessible from the north and south. There is plenty of car parking , on and off-road, around our property. The nearest train station is in Harrogate which is 12 miles away and there is an hourly bus service which takes a very scenic route between Pateley and Harrogate. There is some great walking country just outside the front door - river walks, moorland walks , fantastic views, loads of history and plenty of local characters. Cycling is also very popular and the recent Tour de Yorkshire passed right through the centre of Pateley Bridge. No need to worry about car parking, it's right on your doorstep. The adjacent Southlands public car park is inexpensive (and free from 6pm to 8am) and there is free on-street parking just around the corner from the High Street. Please can we ask that at the end of your stay you leave the property clean and tidy, in the condition that you found it upon arrival.
