Spacious Pet friendly accommodation set in fantastic Worcestershire countryside. With a lovely outer deck to enjoy the beautiful views and a drink at sunset. Has great walks on the doorstep yet close to amenities and motorway links and several lovely country pubs. Set apart from the house, the Studio is a private cosy hide away with amazing views: a great place to unwind and enjoy the peace, an extensive continental breakfast is included. The hosts are friendly and pets are made very welcome. The studio is a private, large open plan space, set on the second floor of a detached annex, with a large window overlooking rolling countryside that extends as far as the Malvern Hills. It is comfortable, cosy and completely self contained and is separate from the main house so you will have complete privacy. It has a small kitchen, with an induction hob, fan oven, kettle, fridge, freezer, Nespresso coffee maker, toaster, and microwave. There are plenty of little extras waiting for you on arrival, including wherever possible a warm loaf of home made bread, as well as a selection of teas, filter coffee, milk, orange juice, butter, home made jam, cereals, oats and seeds. In addition a basket of warm croissants, freshly laid boiled eggs and fruit will be delivered to your door in the morning when you are ready. Dinner or a full English Breakfast can be arranged on request. We can also arrange for Wine, Champagne or Chocolates to be in the room on arrival. There is a restful lounge area with a large flat screen TV and a desk. We also supply an Amazon Firestick, so you can log into your own Netflix or Amazon Prime Account. WIFI is available though the signal varies being in the countryside! There is outside seating on a deck that extends to the side of the studio, perfect for watching the sunset with a glass of wine. NEW FOR WINTER 2021 ***** Our Winters Fire & Feasting experience. During lockdown we built a beautiful wooden outdoor space that we call “The Sittouterie”. We’ve loved sitting out there in the evenings with rugs and a fire, even once in the snow! I’ve added some photographs of the space. So if you’d like to experience a real cozy night outdoors or simply can’t be bothered to go out to the pub we would like to offer our guests an outdoor Fire & Feast night. Booking will need to be made with me at least 5 days in advance or enquire when you book as it may not always be available. But if requested your evening will include the following: * Private use of the Sittouterie for the evening * Cozy Fur rugs * An outdoor fire pit, lit for you and extra wood provided * A bottle of Wine or Fizz * Crisps or Snacks when you arrive * A Hamper with baked Camembert, warm crusty bread, chutney, chorizo in chili oil or Houmous & Falafels. * Marshmallows for toasting The total cost of the above is £45 An additional cheese board with/without antipasti or other dietary tastes and requirements can also be catered for, please just ask. Up to 2 well behaved dogs are welcome, but please let me know when you book. There is separate access and a large gravel driveway with secure parking for one or two cars. A washer dryer can be made available for guests booking stays of 3 days or more. If there’s anything else you need please just ask when booking and I’ll do what I can to accommodate you. I have had to change my booking options to a 2 night minimum stay, due to the necessary cleaning measures I have put in place to ensure the studio is deep cleaned between guests, and therefore safe for your arrival. Where possible I have also introduced a 24hr break between bookings. This may mean you can not get the dates you need as it does limit the number of bookings I can accept. If this is the case please do contact me or still send an enquiry as there maybe some flexibility on the dates I have blocked out. Self check in will be essential and all contact with us will be limited to the social distancing guidelines. So please feel assured you can stay here and in complete safety. There is private secure parking for 2 cars, the gates are always locked at night. Guests are welcome to enjoy the gardens and walk round the property to hand feed our very friendly sheep and chickens. We'll be on hand and happy to help guests when they arrive. We can share our local knowledge and provide advice on travel, eating out and places of interest nearby. We do have 4 dogs who live on the property who are very happy to greet you and get to know you. If you are not keen on dogs then do please let me know when you book and I can keep them away when you arrive. The studio is located on a bridal path, at the top of a hill overlooking a lovely sweeping valley. It’s in a perfect rural setting in a beautiful part of Worcestershire. There are some lovely walks right on your doorstep, and you’ll find copies of the OS public footpaths in the studio. Our closest village is Feckenham, a picturesque traditional English village, with a village green and several great pubs. There are several walking and riding routes, including the long-distance public footpath, The Monarch's Way, that passes about 1.5 miles east of the village. Most Importantly we are lucky to be close to a number of great country pubs; The Brook Inn is less than half a mile down the road, an easy walk and we supply a torch for the darker nights! In Feckenham, both the Rose and Crown and The Forest are a 5 minute drive, or a lovely 45 mins off road walk straight down the bridal path. A great way to spend a Saturday or Sunday afternoon, if we are around we will also arrange collection home afterwards! I can send you more details on all the pubs if you need them. Just down the road is The Jinny Ring (a lovely little craft village, great for afternoon tea & a mooch), and Hanbury Hall (National Trust Property). It is also ideally placed for visiting Ragley Hall, central Birmingham, Stratford upon Avon, The Malverns, Worcestershire or Warwick. The NEC is a 30 minute drive, an easy commute which we did every day when we were working. The accommodation is however, still close to several main motorways, M42/M5 and only a couple of miles from a town and large supermarkets. Free secure parking is available on site. Given the rural nature of the property, then public transport is very limited. The nearest train station is Redditch, though Droitwich and Bromsgrove are also quite close and collection from these stations can be arranged. There are also quite few good Taxi firms locally. Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 11am. Given the new cleaning and sanitisation requirements it’s not currently possible to routinely offer an early check in or late checkout. However there are occasions when there are free days etc so please do ask and I’ll always do what I can to accommodate any requests. As I provide breakfast, do please let me know in advance if you have any allergy’s or special dietary requests.
