The main bedroom is private and has got 2 single beds which can be made as a double bed-under request. In the other room there is one sofa and the kitchenette. The bathroom is private of course. The balcony is overlooking the mount Ainos and the garden with the swim spa. Ideal position to fully explore Kefalonia's beauties. Highlights of the area: •Melissani Cave Lake – the cave of the nymphs- It’s within walking distance, at only 300m from us and you can enjoy it on a boat ride. •Drogarati cave with stalactites and stalagmites is estimated to be one million years old. Besides, Karavomilos is the most suitable place to stay at, as it equally distances most parts of Kefalonia. It is very close to Sami, the main port of Kefalonia. It is a quiet fishing village where you can enjoy fishing and snorkelling and its long pebbly beach. The bus stop for the public transport is just on the corner. There are tavernas, a mini market and a bakery, a free boat marina and the lake of Karavomylos with the water mill where the subterranean water of Melissani ends is one of the most remarkable geological phenomena. Within 50m from our premises there is a tennis court, basketball, football and 5X5 mini- soccer pitches. They are all public and thus free. We also provide you with the necessary equipment. Walking trails are very popular in the area. They offer beautiful scenery, natural environment and according to your choice can take you to archaeological sites such as the Acropolis of Ancient Sami, or the beautiful Antisamos beach. The pre-earthquake village of Karavomilos is 5 km to the modern one and can be visited at any time. The airport is at 30 km from us and you can reach us by taxi or rent car. We could arrange low price rent car from and to the airport after contact. Transport is on your own mainly. But in case you prefer the public transport, the bus stop is round the corner, at just 20 m. Walking distance to Sami and Melissani lake. You can have our bikes for further distances once they are available. We could arrange trips on coaches, boats etc, around the island or even Ithaca.
