A delightful barn conversion

Set in the gardens of our 17th Century house, we are offering you a well designed barn conversion which is spacious and light. We are situated in the pretty rural village of Shabbington, just outside the market town of Thame, and surrounded by the Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire countryside. We are ideally placed for those wishing to visit local attractions such as Bicester Village, Oxford, Waddesdon Manor and Blenheim Palace. The barn consists of an open plan sitting room/dining room and kitchen, a mezzanine bedroom (restricted height) with a kingsize double bed and a large shower room. It is equipped with a 55inch Smart TV (Netflix/Amazon Prime), free Wifi, Sonos sound bar and pool/dining table. There is underfloor heating throughout as well as a wood burner (logs supplied at a charge) for cold winter days and evenings. The barn is also fully air conditioned. The Kitchen is well stocked with crockery, cutlery, saucepans, toaster, kettle, microwave and a nespresso machine. We offer breakfast consisting of cereal, toast, coffee and tea. There is an outside patio area with a large corner sofa for sitting in the sun. The barn is at the rear of our garden and can be accessed separately at the side of our house, across the lawn. There is plenty of parking outside and the barn has its own self check-in lockbox. As we live in the main house, we will be on site should you need any help or have any queries. We are on hand to offers ideas of walks, places to visit etc but will also leave you to enjoy some peace and quiet! We provide a book full of local information. Shabbington village is 3 miles from the Market town of Thame, 5 miles from Haddenham & Thame Parkway Station, 12 miles from Bicester Village (Designer Outlet) and the City of Oxford. Other notable areas of interest are Waddesdon Manor, Claydon Estate and Stowe Gardens. We are also 1 mile from the Phoenix trail for which is perfect for cycle lovers - you can hire local bikes in Thame and there are lots of lovely walks close to the Chilterns. Our local pub The Fisherman Arms is a short walk away providing daily food, which is situated on the river with a fantastic garden. This is the perfect getaway for couples who are looking for a quiet and relaxing weekend in the country and business travellers or individuals passing through the area.
