Birchrock is a secluded Maine lakefront cottage on six acres with green lawn and 400 feet of beautiful very-private lakefront. This classic Maine cottage has a fully-equipped kitchen, five bedrooms, three full baths, pantry with washer/dryer, three indoor-outdoor eating areas, large vaulted-ceiling family room with impressive stone fireplace, large wrap-around screened porch facing the water, DSL/Wireless and spectacular waterfront views. There are kayaks, a waterfront dock, a separate swim raft, and a “playhouse” on the grounds. Situated on Long Pond, a ten-mile long lake with frequent sightings of loons, eagles and herons and great for swimming and boating. Birchrock is across the lake from Days General store in Belgrade Lakes, and is about 10 minutes drive from the hiking trails of the Kennebec Highlands and 2 miles from the world-class Belgrade Lakes Golf Course. We supply the linens, basic kitchen supplies and paper goods. We rent Thursday to Thursday, giving our guests a full weekend at Birchrock and no the Saturday traffic.
