Holiday home in rural Normandy

Newly renovated farmhouse in open countryside, sleeps 6. Large new kitchen with wood stove. Spacious living room, 2 double bedrooms and bunk room; central heating. Guests have use of the cottage garden with children's play area. Disabled access. Ideally located for exploring the world class tourist sites of the Mont-St-Michel, Bayeux Tapestry, Normandy Landing Beaches and much more. This 'gite' is part of a country farmhouse complex; it has been renovated to provide comfortable space for up to six while keeping all the charm of the original. It is a completely separate and private space. It is accessible for disabled users, with sleeping space and a wet room downstairs - but please contact me to discuss whether it is suitable for your specific needs. Guests have access to the gite, the garden including play area, surrounding fields and stream. When we are there we will also use the outside space - but with around 7 hectares to share, there's plenty of room! There is parking for several cars at the end of the private access road. We love staying at the main farmhouse in the holidays and then I am always available in person; otherwise someone locally will be able to take care of any issues. I am of course available online and by mobile. The local store is only 2-km away by car or country pathways and you can get croissants and other supplies. There are miles of country walks around the gite starting at the door; there is a nearby golf course with lake and water sports. The coast is a 45-min drive away with Mont St Michel, Bayeux, and the Normandy landing beaches all within an hour. The area is great for cycling enthusiasts. Lots of hills and a less hilly cycle path to the Mont St-Michel (80km). There is also lots of walking from the door or short distances away by car. There are no bus services so you do need to come by car.
