Moxie Lake, Private Water Front Camp, West Forks Maine

Located on pristine Lake Moxie, surrounded by all the wonders that Maine has to offer. This camp is perfect for anyone looking for White Water Rafting (only 2 miles away), Hike the Appalachian Trail, or use the nearby ATV trails for your off road buggy (access to the trails is only .5 mile away). Hike into Moxie Falls only minutes away, the largest waterfall in Maine! There are several mountains nearby for hiking. You can fish from our dock, go canoeing, kayaking, swimming, use the fire pit to roast marshmallows and sit underneath the sky and watch the stars, breath the fresh mountain air. Looking for moose, leaf peeping, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, , cross-country skiing, bird watching, , this is just a part of all the things you can do. The camp is cozy and furnished with a 1st floor bedroom (full size bed) and upstairs loft (Queen Bed and 2 twin beds) the futon couch in the living room folds out to a full size bed. The kitchen has a refrigerator, cook stove, microwave and table seating. There is a sink for washing, but no running water ( water will be provided to you for washing). You will need to bring your own drinking water. The bathroom is currently a full sized, outside porta-toilet that is cleaned and fresh for you. The camp has electricity that is produced by a generator, there is NO Wi-Fi or cell phone signal, cell phone signal can be picked up a couple miles down the road. The camp is only a few feet from the water and you can use our kayak and canoe at no additional charge. We have life vests on site or you can bring your own. Our cabin is 4 season and heated with a wood stove and gas heater. You can’t ice fish on Lake Moxie, but there are several lakes nearby and Moosehead Lake is about 30 minutes on a snowmobile. We provide all liens but towels. Please bring your own towels. Our camp offers privacy and is quiet and peaceful, come and relax.
