Breathtaking sunsets at Joppolo View (sleeps 4)

Comfortable two bedroomed, air-conditioned apartment situated in the delightful hillside village of Joppolo on the Tyrrhenian Coast of Calabria. The sea is rich with activity and is a perfect oasis for diving and snorkelling. An ideal spot for a quiet and relaxing holiday, Joppolo View has unforgettable sunsets across the Golfe di Gioia with breathtaking views of Mount Etna and Stromboli. Joppolo is in a beautiful tranquil part of Italy with stunning views of the coastline and sea from the apartment. The apartment itself is well-equipped and clean with plenty of towels, linen and cooking utensils for a comfortable stay. There are a few good local restaurants within walking distance of the apartment and if you have a car this widens the options to visit elsewhere. Tropea is a favourite destination but also Santa Maria and Capo Vaticano beaches are well worth a visit. An idyllic holiday location for anyone wanting to escape the busy day to day life for a real break. I can be reached by telephone if necessary and there is a charming contact on site who is always happy to be of assistance. Shops are open in the morning, generally shut between 1.00 and 3.00 pm then open again for a couple of hours late afternoon / early evening. There is very handy and well-stocked grocery store at the entrance to Joppolo View which sells almost everything you will need including a very fair local wine under €3.00 (which is exceptional value for money and, it seems, doesn’t appear to cause hangovers!), fresh vegetables, bread, household consumables, a frozen section, cooked meats section, etc. There is a train station at Joppolo which we have yet to explore as we tend to hire a car at the airport.
