The house is in a rural area and beautifully peaceful, despite being so close to the centre of Norwich. You might even spot some cows in the fields opposite! Perfect for a get-away-from-it-all escape! We are extremely well located for Norwich (just 12 minutes drive to the city centre). We have plenty of private parking if you're driving; otherwise, it's a short hop in a taxi from Norwich train station (cost around £12). Our home is ideally situated if you are visiting the beautiful, historic city of Norwich; Norwich's university (University of East Anglia); the Norfolk & Norwich Hospital (NNUH); the John Innes Centre; Norwich Research Park; and Norfolk's wider attractions (Norfolk and Suffolk Coast and beaches incl. Holkham, Brancaster, Cromer, Gt Yarmouth, Wells, Southwold, The Norfolk Broads etc.) There are some fantastic walks and great local restaurants nearby for a special meal. We recommend The Wildebeest and Stoke Mill at Stoke Holy Cross, or Benedicts Restaurant, Farmyard Restaurant, Roger Hickman's Restaurant, Bishop's & The Ivy in Norwich itself. You will need to book a few days in advance for these as they are a bit special and very popular! Just a few minutes away, and for a chilled-out evening with no need to book, we recommend The Sugar Beat Eating House, The Red Lion at Eaton, The King's Head at Bawburgh - or a drink or two at The World's End, Mulbarton. This is a SELF-CONTAINED private studio, attached to a stunning family home, with its OWN SEPARATE ENTRANCE. The studio is on the ground floor so there are no stairs/access issues. Check-in is available from 4pm on the day of arrival. There is plenty of off-street parking available.
