Meltem Beach House - Twiga cosy room on the beach

Experience a mix of modernity and culture in our reconstituted property. The house futures five rooms, three of them with private bathroom, as well as living room, dining room and kitchen equipped with all that may be needed. The guests have access to all the common rooms, as well as small porch with ocean view. There are restaurants and bars few steps from our cozy house. Perfect place for relaxation, yet not far from the night life. Perfect for big groups. We hope you will have extraordinary time in Zanzibar and will like the room. Twiga room is a pleasure for the guests. This is one of the five rooms we are renting. Cozy and snug it can give you all the comfort you need. The room has a private bathroom. There is one small double bed and wardrobe as well. You have access to all the common areas including the kitchen, living room, dining room and comfy porch with sea view. Twiga room will give you a comfy pleasure yet letting you feel the exotic spirit of Zanzibar. The house has common areas that will be shared between the current guests in the house. That includes cozy living room, dining room, kitchen equipped with everything needed for your good stay, toilet and bathroom. Outside the house there is small porch and big yard with ocean view. For our guests we can arrange at an extra cost pickup from the airport or town. Once in the house we can arrange for tours around the island, kiting, yoga lessons, snorkeling, diving and more, which are charged extra. You only have to come and let us show you the island life. The price does not include free Wi-Fi. On the right side, few steps from the house there is small beach bar and restaurant that offers nice sea food and great sea view scenery. There is also Coral Rock, nice Italian restaurant with good food and infinity pool looking down to the ocean. The people are nice and helpful. Even now, that you know all the comfort is walkable distance, I bet the explorer in you is wondering about the whole island, the things you could see outside your small piece of paradise. Well, you can rent a car, scouter or bike. And of course we can help you with it, or you can try on your own. The decision is all yours. However if you are a true adventurer we have another option for you. You can try the Dala-Dala - local transportation. This unique method of exploring around will grant you a better experience, but you have to note, that Dala-Dala is not very reliable. It might not come, it can be late or you might have to make compromises with the people in it as well other problems that we can't even predict. The people are good and friendly. This is Zanzibar, Africa. We honestly will admit that sometimes the electricity stops, but that's no problem, we'll give you candles to enjoy the romantic short moments. Some times monkeys might pass on your rooftop. The internet is so so, which is due to the poor infrastructure. You know the "it's Africa" phrase? It totally applies here, but that's part of its charm.
