Since 1885 a concept in Oldenzaal! In a beautiful monumental building in the center of Oldenzaal, De Kroon, with hotel permit, is the ideal and save base for your group! Our large catering kitchen is perfect these days to prepare a fantastic professional diner for your friends or family. We have space enough, you have your own bar and there is a nice garden with a beautiful view, where you can enjoy the fireplace. We are always ready for you, to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Do you want help, in organizing an activity or can we help you with something else? Indicate what you want & we are happy to help! We have 12 double rooms which all have their own bathroom. Some bathrooms still have grandmothers tiles, but everything is clean and they are being renovated step by step. The rooms have two single box springs that stand against each other, but you can also easily slide them apart. It is also possible to place two extra beds in two rooms, so that you can stay with a total of 26 people. The private bar area, breakfast & dining room and large catering kitchen are fully at your disposal, so you can prepare your own dinner or have a drink in your private bar. All our rooms are located in the building on the first and second floor. We do not have a lift, the rooms are only accessible by stairs. On the ground floor you will find the front room which is equipped as standard for breakfast, but can also be nicely arranged for a nice dinner. Behind it is the private bar area with the catering kitchen next to it. Complete with everything you may expect from a catering kitchen. De Kroon is located in the center of Oldenzaal with lots of nice restaurants and bars around the corner. The Burgundian Oldenzaal also has many beautiful shops and in the vicinity you will find beautiful places such as Enschede or the historic Ootmarsum. Oldenzaal is the ideal base for overnight stays if you enjoy walking or cycling in the beautiful Twente countryside. The recreation area Hulsbeek is five minutes away. In Oldenzaal and surroundings there are many possibilities for a sporting day together with your group! The Oldenzaal center can easily be reached by car. Oldenzaal is located next to the motorway, just before the border crossing to Germany. Oldenzaal is also easily accessible by train. The central station is a five minute walk from our accommodation.
