Double room available for up to 4 guests

Albert 5 is located on the second floor at the front of our house, accessible by stairs. Each room in this double bedroom is equipped with 2 single beds. The rooms are separated by a connecting door. Guests can check in without contact using a personalized access code. The connecting door of this double room is opened when 3 or 4 persons are booked. Albert 5 is equipped with one on-suite bathroom and a separate toilet. There is also a refrigerator and tea and coffee making facilities. For optimal comfort, this room is equipped with air conditioning! On the ground floor there is a communal kitchen with microwave oven and sufficient kitchen utensils such as plates, glasses and cutlery. There is also a veranda and free access to the garden. There is room to put your bikes (inside or ouside in the garden). Guests can check in without contact using a personalized access code. We value your privacy, but as a landlord I am available 24/7. Our house "Albert" is literally a 8 minute walk from the station and the city center of Mechelen. You don't have to go far for cozy terraces and eating and drinking facilities. From our front door you can also see the Vaart Leuven-Mechelen with the broad cycling path along it. To the left you cycle towards Leuven. If you want to go for a walk in the Vrijbroekpark, follow the path to the right. All buses stop at Mechelen train station. From the station you walk 8 minutes along the Leopoldstraat to the 2nd street on your right: Albert Geudensstraat. If you travel by bicycle: you can park your bicycle for free in our garden or in our veranda during rainy weather. If you come by car, you can find a parking space along the street. Attention: In Mechelen there is paid parking everywhere from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm. You can also park in the underground city parking “Bruul” at a 5 minute walk from our house.
