Town and Country self-catering accommodation, Caledon, Western Cape. Situated in town, but with a definite country atmosphere. Our self-contained, self-catering apartment forms part of the main house on the property, but has seperate front and back entrances and a private section of the garden reserved exclusively for use by our guests. The apartment also has its own deck with a lovely view of the garden and animals. There is also access to the swimming pool in the garden. RATES ARE PER PERSON The apartment comprises 2 bedrooms that can sleep up to 4 persons - (main bedroom with a double bed and second bedroom with 2 single beds - both rooms have air-conditioning); a large, full bathroom; a living area with large, flat-screen TV with full DSTV and free Wi-Fi; a fully equipped kitchen; and a private deck that has a braai area that is stocked with wood and has lovely views of the garden and surrounding countryside. There is also access to the heated swimming pool in the garden. Off-street parking is also available for vehicles. The apartment is rented out as a whole unit, regardless of the number of guests - so whether you book it for a single person or a group of 4, the whole apartment is reserved for their sole use for the duration of their stay. We have also put measures in place to deal with any water shortages and the possibility of power failures due to the dreaded Eskom "load-shedding". Our property has water storage tanks totalling 32 500 Litres and a back-up generator capable of supplying power to the whole property. The apartment is also equipped with a gas stove, a stove-top kettle and an emergency LED lantern for use in case of power failures. Access to heated swimming pool & outdoor braai in large garden which functions as a sanctuary for a variety of rescued animals. We have sheep, a Potbelly pig, rabbits, chickens, tortoises, dogs & cats, as well as an abundance of bird life. Please note that guests have a private area of the garden reserved for their use. The animals do not have access to this area or to the living space, and will therefor not bother guests, who may choose if and when they wish to interact with the animals. We are situated on the edge of town, with all the atmosphere of the country, yet only 5 minutes from the Victoria Mall, the Caledon Casino and Hot Springs, and 20 minutes from the sea in Hermanus. Our property is situated about 1km from the Caledon Botanical Gardens and the Caledon Casino, Hot Springs and Spa, and is within walking distance of the town centre. The Victoria Mall is also approximately 1 km away. We are also less than 5km from the popular wedding venues, Die Woud and The One Heaven and Earth. We offer secure off-street parking to our guests.
