Quaint 2-bed cottage with brand new pool.

Pretty cottage in village location, walking distance to the beautiful village of Aubeterre. Garden with brand new pool, decking and pool house with bar. The space The living area is open plan with sitting area, dining table and a kitchen to the rear. The kitchen comes equipped with oven, hob, fridge and washing machine. All crockery, cutlery, glasses and cooking equipment is provided. The house has 2 bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin, and there is a family shower room with separate toilet (both downstairs). We provide all bedding and towels including beach towels. There is a patio at the back with table and chairs and sun beds and BBQ are also available. The brand new above ground swimming pool area is truly stunning and you can spend lots of time here as there is a new pool house, complete with fridge and bar area, so you don't even have to go back to the house for your cold drinks! Guest access The whole house and garden are included in your stay. Interaction with guests I live and work in the village of St. Romain so am always around to offer help and advice on anything to enhance your stay such as where to eat or which tourist attractions to visit. I am also on hand to help arrange anything to help make your stay enjoyable For example: Airport:/train station collections Grocery packs/essentials purchase and delivery Meals made and delivered to your rental property Flower deliveries Other things to note Please note: There is a single track road between the house and the garden area. Whilst it does not attract much traffic, it is something to be aware of if planning to stay with small children. Please consider the enjoyment of other visitors to the area, and we respectfully ask you not to use the pool after 10pm. The village of Saint Romain is a very typical quiet French village, with a small shop and restaurant. However, the location offers the best of both worlds as it is only a 5 minute's drive away (or 20 min. walk) from Aubeterre sur Dronne, officially classed as "one of the most beautiful villages" in France. Here you will find lots of cafes and shops nestled amongst beautiful architecture. There is also a riverside beach with bar and cafe, and canoeing is also available from here. Further afield, there is an abundance of scenery and tourist attractions awaiting your visit, from the vineyards and sunflowers that make up the stunning scenery of this region to golf, horse riding and cycling for the more active tourist. Don't forget to visit the many bars and cafes in the area to enjoy a spot of people watching! Getting around As with much of rural France a car is highly recommended as the best way of enhancing your stay.
