The Studio over the garage

The Studio is a great space for a short stay to visit many of the local attractions such as the New Forest, Peppa Pig World and Mottisfont Abbey. We care deeply about your stay and make every effort to create a warm and welcoming place for you to rest after a busy day or stop over on your way to a final destination. We provide a great night's sleep, great internet and TV with two special pubs within walking distance and of course we welcome your pets too. The studio is secure and accessed by its own front door under the car port. Once in there is a flight of stairs that takes you up and affords a double room, lounge area with TV and great Internet as well as a shower, toilet and sink. The Studio is ideal for a single person or a couple, there is a fully made up double bed and 2 camp beds that can provide somewhere for others to sleep. The bathroom has a discreet wall to provide privacy but no door to it so you do need to know each other well! There are minimal kitchen facilities, a kettle, fridge, toaster and a microwave so that you can make tea & coffee (provided) as well as toast or porridge for breakfast. We will provide you with a jug of fresh milk and a few bottles of water on arrival so you can enjoy a good cuppa before heading off to explore the local area. Outside there is a lawned area you can use for some fresh air or to let your dog have a brief "moment". Across the road is a large park called Hunts Farm which is great for dog walks or of course you can stroll down to the pubs which both welcome dogs. You'll park in the secure undercover parking and enter through your own front door to a private secure studio above. You also have access to a small lawned area you can sit out in for some fresh air or to let your dogs explore. We will generally be at home during your stay but you have private access to the studio and parking. Just knock on the door if you need anything. Timsbury is a small village on the outskirts of the old market town of Romsey (3 miles down the road). The village is in the Test Valley and is a beautiful part of the country on the outskirts of the New Forest and 20 minutes by car or train will get you to Southampton, Salisbury or Winchester. Many of our guests also use us for an overnight stay before boarding the cruise ships at Southampton. Mottisfont Abbey is a mile away and the world famous Peppa Pig World is just a few miles up the road. There are two great pubs that both serve food just down the road within walking distance. The Goat and The Bear and Ragged Staff both of which will welcome dogs. This area is great for fishing on the Test, walking the multitude of local and national walks that criss-cross the area including the Monarch's Way and the Test Way. The New Forest is on the doorstep as is The Solent. You would need a car or bike here as public transport is limited. Once in Romsey (3 miles) there is a bus station and train station so access from there is fine and it's a good cycle ride to Romsey. We list as a maximum of four people but the listing price is for 2 people with an additional charge of £10 per person per night. Infants are free of charge up to 2 years old. The additional beds are camp-beds that we provide on request.
