Clothes Prop Cottage, a Helmsley hideaway

Clothes Prop Cottage is located in the heart of Helmsley, just a couple of minutes walk from the shops, tea rooms, pubs and restaurants in this beautiful North Yorkshire market town. The property is available for 3 night weekend and 4 night mid week stays as well as full 7 night breaks. The property suits couples looking for a relaxing stay in the Yorkshire countryside, with their beloved pets welcome! The cottage has a cosy living room, separate kitchen, two bedrooms (one with a king size bed and one with a double bed), a bathroom with over bath shower and a dedicated parking space behind the cottage. Amenities include: Hive controlled central heating, electric oven, gas hob, microwave, washing machine, fridge freezer, coffee machine, TV with Freeview Recorder and DVD. Bed linen and towels included in the rent. Sorry, but this is a no smoking property. The area: Helmsley is the only market town in the North York Moors National Park and is a perfect base to enjoy the National Park, Yorkshire Coast and Howardian Hills AONB. There are English Heritage and National Trust attractions nearby (Rievaulx Abbey, Byland Abbey, Pickering Castle, Nunnington Hall etc.) as well as the famous coastal town of Whitby, the steam railway in Pickering and the historic walled city of York. The town: There is plenty to do in Helmsley, including attractions such as the Castle, the Walled Garden, Duncombe Park, National Centre for Birds of Prey and Arts Centre, browsing the shops and art galleries and of course savouring delights from the award winning pubs and eateries (Helmsley even has it's own Brewery!). I like to give my guests space during their stay at Clothes Prop Cottage, but I live in Helmsley so I'm close by should the need arise.
