Private Woodland Cabin with own wood-fired Hot-Tub

A cosy, private, self contained cabin with its own wood-fired Hot-tub, overlooking our woods. The cabin is well equipped with everything you'll need for your stay, we supply a breakfast starter pack and tea & coffee, and a few treats. We are happy to help set up birthday/anniversary celebration. A gas BBQ is available on the deck of the cabin and you're welcome to bring your bikes, we have a cycle rack to use. There is only one unit on property, you’ll be comfortably secluded and private. This is an ideal space to relax, unwind and reconnect. Walking or cycling from the back gate can take you on river walks, to Frensham Ponds and to various beautiful places to enjoy. We are happy for you to bring a well behaved dog with you. We will get the hot tub ready for your arrival, keep you supplied with wood and happy to maintain fire each pm, if you prefer not to do it. It’s perfect to relax in after a day out, we often hear owls and see wildlife, it’s a special place. The guests have sole use of the privately situated cabin with its own deck, hot-tub and gas BBQ. There is a grassed area to the side which they can use for lawn games or enjoy the sun, loungers are provided. They may see horses passing to the bridlepath but this is in no way invasive. We welcome the LGBTQIA+ community. We are available to guests most of the time, we live in the main house and try and greet guests on arrival, although self check in with a lock box is available. Happy to share local knowledge and then leave you to enjoy the cabin and hot-tub which we will light ahead of your arrival. Please note the hot tub is not available on the morning of your departure as the fire needs to be cold so tub can be emptied for next guests. The cabin is situated alongside our own woodland, it’s quiet and rural and very private and discreet A car is probably the most convenient way to arrive, although we have had guests coming down from London by train and getting a taxi from Farnham station. Once here, there is probably very little need to use a car as most places are walkable. The routes along byways and bridleway are superb for cycling, and we encourage cyclists to bring their bikes, we provide a cycle rack and hose to wash bikes down. We have also been able to accommodate horses should you wish to bring them, it’s an extra cost but check if paddock is available before you book. We are within easy walking distance of the Duke of Cambridge pub which is great for meals, I suggest booking as they are very popular. We are right on the walking paths which lead to Frensham Ponds, Tilford, Hankley Common, Pierre point farm and the Craft Rooms brewery. It’s a great area for cycling too and a bike rack is available for use, as is a hose and tap to wash down muddy dogs and bikes! Please consider covering your booking by taking travel insurance with Covid cover which will cost less than £10 for a weekend in case of a positive LFT after the free cancellation window.
