Rent a farm house in Nova Bana

We rent out a farm house between the hills of Nova Bana. It s a quiet place near the lake Tajch. The place is ideal for families with children who want to relax and enjoy nature It has a big garden and playground and it is completely fenced. It is a secluded farmhouse with chalet. The house has two seperate parts, each part consists of two bedrooms, one kitchen and a bathroom. In every bedroom is place for maximum 3 people. Around the house, you can find a barn (with 2 pool tables), the chalet (also with one room and bathroom) and the garden with playground. Around the farmhouse, you will find meadows. Because it can only be heated by wood in stoves and fire places, we rather do not rent it out during winter months because of the possible danger, so rather from May till October. The barn with the pool tables can be rented for 35 euro/week and is available for all the guests. Yard, garden, emu park, meadows around the house are all available for all the guests. Parking place for free. We used to visit the place only during the weekends, so during the week the farmhouse is mostly occupied only by guests. It has a hilly landscape, it is quiet, lots of trees, and the artificial lake offers plenty of opportunities to swim. It is a very rural place, with no industry or uniform agriculture in the vicinity of a couple of km. It used to be a region which produced fruit, and many relicts of these activities can be found. Nova Bana itself is a small village, once very active in the mining industry. Therefor, the lake was created. Now, it serves only for recreational purposes. Furthermore, from your accomodation, you can start by car and visit other interesting mining cities as Banska Stiavnica, Kremnica or Banska Bystrica. There is a bus and trainconnection from Bratislava till Nova Bana. The bus and trainstation are located at the same place. It s 2 km away from the centre of Nova Bana, and approximately 7 km away from the farm. Some selfmade products can be purchased as jam, drieskovica (52,4% apple spirit) and nut liquor (15% alcohol), books of Slovakia and turistic places and maps.
