Great Abshot Barn offers spacious, relaxing accommodation that's perfect for chill-out weekends, local pubs and walks, or active family breaks, whatever the weather, however you feel. Renovated to a stylish spec' in 2016, the barn has a huge games area, ready for you to play indoor badminton or table tennis. You can also explore the 1.5 acre gardens and grounds, which includes a trampoline and small football pitch. The barn is in a quiet rural setting, a 5-min drive from the Solent Way (bike and walking trail) and Titchfield Abbey. It's also within easy reach of the M27 if you want to head for Historic Portsmouth Dockyard, Winchester, Southampton or the New Forest. The 19th century building was completely restored in 2016 by ourselves (we live next door). So you get the best of the old and new - a charming, historic building that's been carefully kitted out with modern facilities. You've got the run of the whole place too. The accommodation is suitable for up to six guests (see photos and please note in our house rules we do not accommodate children under 6 years of age). It has a large comfortable lounge area with wood stove, a fully equipped kitchen, one double bedroom, two twin bedded rooms and two bathrooms. The barn is one mile from a small shopping centre which includes a large Waitrose, a butcher, bakery, chemist, Costa Coffee and post office. A car is essential. There is parking for up to four cars on the drive. The barn and all it's facilities are for your enjoyment only during your stay. We ask you as guests not to invite friends and family to visit. Unfortunately we have to say this because of previous guests taking advantage of the facilities we have to offer and inviting others to join them. This has led to damage and unnecessary wear and tear, we are sorry for any inconvenience.
