I hope you will find my home to be a peaceful & charming place. I personally love the sunlight, plants & hammock chair! You will love the thoughtful touches and luxurious amenities, including: robes/slippers, luxury toiletries, juice, milk & cookies, oatmeal, granola bars, coffee/tea with ALL the fixings, Netflix, and a vending machine full of surprises! This 2nd-floor townhouse apartment is located in a quiet triplex with a fenced-in back yard and off-street parking for up to (4) vehicles; parking is first-come, first-served. After using a keypad to check in, you will have to climb about 10 steps to access the apartment. This home has a living room (with small dining table), kitchen, bathroom, and 2 bedrooms with amazingly comfortable queen-sized beds. The larger bedroom has a desk. The entire space is about 700 sq ft; spacious for 1-2 guests, cozy for 3-4 guests. Through the kitchen is access to the shared backyard. A washer/dryer are in the apartment and available for your use. I will likely be in Kansas City (about 45 minutes away) during your stay. I am available by text from 8am-10pm. I consider this to be a perfect Lawrence location. You will be close to everything, but are not located in a "party" neighborhood. *Campuses: KU and HINU campuses are 1 mile away *Basketball: 1.5 miles from Allen Fieldhouse. Rock Chalk! *Restaurants/Local Shops: Visit charming downtown Lawrence; 1.5 miles away *Events: 2 miles from the Lied Center or the Granada *Nature: Hike the wetlands! The Haskell-Baker Wetlands nature preserve is just 1 mile away *Familiar Commerce: located 2 miles from a strip of recognizable stores, including: Target, Walmart, World Market, Kohls, Micheals, Best Buy, DICKS, and more. For a city of its size, Lawrence has amazing public transportation! An Uber to downtown or to KU's campus costs $5-$10; cars are always readily available. The official check-in and check-out times may be flexible, depending on a variety of factors. Please feel free to ask about early/late times - I am frequently able to accommodate these requests. If accommodations are not made in advance, check in is 4pm and checkout is 11am. Dogs are welcome, but there is a $35 pet fee to cover extra cleaning and vacuuming. The fenced-in backyard is shared with 2 other apartments.
