Graceland Cottage
A quaint, semi-detached country cottage set in the heart of Shakespeare countryside and the lovely village of Snitterfield. Graceland cottage, an old Victorian wash house, holds many original features for guests to enjoy. This cosy bolthole is a perfect base to relax and explore Stratford upon-Avon, the north Cotswolds and many other towns and villages such as Warwick and Chipping Campden. Situated in a quiet spot on the Monarch's Way footpath as well as many other stunning Warwickshire routes. The downstairs space comprises of a well equipped cottage kitchen with oven, fridge, washing machine and tumble dryer. A small spilt level dining space for 4 people sits at the back of the kitchen. The living room is spacious with a traditional wood burner as well as original flagstone floors throughout. French doors lead out to a front terraced area with space to eat or enjoy an evening drink. We have high speed fibre wifi throughout the property. Upstairs is accessed by traditional steep cottage stairs. The master bedroom is a generous size with high ceilings and plenty of wardrobe storage and a chest of drawers. It has a double bed and side tables. The second bedroom has a single bed, a high ceiling and exposed brick chimney. The shower room has a modern shower, toilet and sink with storage beneath. Hot water and central heating is provided by a modern gas combi-boiler. The entire cottage is available to guests along with a small south facing enclosed front patio area. We live opposite the cottage and on hand to help and always available by phone, message, and email. The village has a lovely pub which serves good food. A village shop that stocks all essentials. There is a tennis and social club as well as 2 parks with children's play equipment.There are 3 golf courses within 2 miles as well as an artisan farm shop with an excellent café the other side of the village, a 10 minute walk away. You are 2 miles from the centre of Stratford upon-Avon, 5 miles from Warwick, Kenilworth and Royal Leamington Spa as well as on the edge of the North Cotswolds where villages such as Chipping Campden and Broadway lie. There is a regular bus service from the centre of the village to Stratford upon-Avon and other towns such as Warwick. The Monarchs Way footpath leads you from the front door, over the Welcombe hills to the centre of Stratford. Parking is in a safe quiet spot with other residents 20 metres from the property.
