There are many beautiful walks and cycle routes through the countryside and along the canals which can be explored right from the doorstep. The town offers a couple of great food led pubs, an Indian, an Italian and a Thai restaurant. The is also a fish and chip shop, a cafe, post office and local convenience store. There is plenty of space to park your car easily. 5 minute walk to St Margret's (Herts) train station which has direct links into London. *depending on time of day quickest route into London is either into Seven Sisters, or Tottenham Hale (26mins both on Victoria Line) with all trains terminating at Liverpool Street (41mins)* 30 minutes from Stanstead airport; can organise drop off / pick up service.
