Located on edge of village, part of a beautiful historic property with ancient outbuildings, self-contained double bedroom with own entrance, & a newly refurbished large shower room with WC & basin. Basics to make own breakfast, with fridge , kettle, micro-wave etc. - not full cooking facilities. Very quiet & bedroom looks out onto lovely garden at ground floor level. Please allow time to look at our gardens which guests have really enjoyed ! Enter via the Garrick hallway, where storage & basic cooking facilities, with fridge & microwave, and a table for making tea & coffee. This leads to cosy double bedroom with ceiling mural, flat screen tv, & new double bed & upholstered headboard, and hanging closet & chest of drawers, decorated with paintings etc Also off the hall is the newly decorated & fitted bathroom, with wash hand basin on granite top, cupboards beneath, so plenty of room for toiletries, close-coupled wc, towels, and large walk-in tiled shower area with heated floor, mirror & towel rail. Large 'rain' shower head. Guests can walk in the adjacent large garden or take walks in the near by park. This is a beautiful unspoilt part of English countryside, with many rivers, hills & valleys. Stonehenge is about 20 minutes drive, as well as the ancient town of Salisbury with it's stunning cathedral, & Roman ruins near by. Also many great country houses are in the area & perfect for visiting such as Wilton House, Longleat & Stourhead. The coast & some beaches are about one hour plus away, depending on traffic. There are museums & arts centres within 10 miles. Salisbury train station is 20 minutes away & there are numerous taxis; there are a few buses in & out of Salisbury to the village, nearest bus stop a 5 minute walk. There is ample safe free off the road parking & cars are parked about 20 feet (c7m) from entrance
