Located just 5 minutes walking to the beach and surrounded by green gardens. Ideal for families and couples, sleeping up to 6. Enjoy peace and quiet about a 10 minute from the main port, in the village of Askeli. Experience dining on the seaside in one of the many authentic Greek eateries nearby. Our home is an ideal getaway all year long: enjoy the Greek summer vibe, the warm autumn quietness, the savage winter splendors, and the colorful springtime reverie. The house consists of 2 parts: The main house: - Sunlit patio with dining area (accompanied by the properties cats!) - Spacious entry hall - 2 bedrooms with custom-made queen-size beds and certified mattresses. Quality towels and linen provided. - Smart TV's in both rooms with Netflix! - A stunning walk-in shower with earth-tone tiles and a luxurious 'rain' shower. - Fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook up a fresh breakfast or meal. Washer available just outside the kitchen. Independent spare room: On the same property on the side of the main house, we have our extra room with a private entrance. With a bunk bed, it sleeps 2 and has its own ensuite bathroom. The main house, patio, and detached studio round back are private and to your selves. The garden is shared with our elderly parents (and a lot of cats) who live in the above house. Please note we have one parking space available on the premises as well for free. Need a flexible check-in time or self check-in option? We do both! Depending on availability we might be able to provide early check-in. Late check in typically available. After Kanali, the coastal road continues and leads to Askeli, located a few kilometers northeast of the port. Askeli faces the open sea and is built amphitheatrically on the slope of a pine covered hill with a panoramic view from above. There are four snake-shaped streets on the road starting from the beach road and branching out across Askeli, reaching the top of the hill. It has an organized beach with beach bar, a volley net, tables, sundeck loungers, umbrellas, showers, rooms to change, toilets & a water ski training school. There is space to play racquetball and amazing tall trees that provide shade. There is a supermarket, minimarket and bicycle or scooter rentals for short excursions. There are also poolside cafes and snack bars where you can enjoy a swim. At the coastal road, in front of the sea there is the tavern "Olga's" , the "Panorama", the "Askeli", the restaurant of the Hotel "New Aegli", the bistro "Odyssey's Corner" and the grill house "Colona-Askeli" with good food and reasonable prices. To get to the center of Poros there is a bus, taxi and boat. To discover the island at it's best we recommend getting a car rental. This way all amazing spots the island has can be reached. Please note there are cats in the garden of the property. Not in the house itself.
