Psathi
Very beautiful villa with 5 bedrooms, isolated in a small valley by the sea
Milos, a volcanic cyclade offering a sublime rocky coast ... the southwest of the island, almost uninhabited, exceptional beaches ... a small valley: Psathi, and an isolated, refined house, made of local stone, the beach at the end of the garden ... for this exceptional natural site, a handcrafted stone construction ... thick walls, wind circulation, a patio, for freshness in summer, without air conditioning ... a stripped decoration, variations of the colors of the stone .. an aesthetic and functional kitchen, with the best equipment ... a large, master bedroom, facing the sea ... two separate guest bedrooms, equally refined and comfortable ... each with its own " colored stuko "... a patio where it is good to lie on comfortable benches, and why not spend the night, looking at the Milky Way ... and then the sea at about fifty steps, down the field who bathes there ... swim under exceptional mineral arches ... go up to the house, desalinate in the outdoor shower, prepare the barbecue for grilled fish while tasting an ouzo or a white wine of Santorini ... and soon from Milos, where the viticul ture begins ... The house is surrounded by terraces, successively shaded according to the rotation of the sun ... to the south the sea, to the east and west the sides of the valley where the goats pass, to the north the mountain, the mountain Ilias ... The vegetation of this property of 15,000 m² (one hectare and a half), bordered on one side by the municipal road which descends to the sea, and on the other by a stream (dry in summer) along oleanders, olive trees and other local trees, form a peaceful and soft setting ... The small pebble beach is accessible directly from the house. A descent is arranged for the launching of light boats. Natural terraces allow swimmers to sunbathe, while small cliffs allow the discovery of beautiful rock arches. To get there: from the port of Adamas, head towards the airport. Then continue to the south of the island, towards Kipos. Then continue to the hamlet of Psathadika, where a good quality dirt road follows the tarmac road. After two kilometers, take a small dirt road on the left at low speed with a traditional car (a small 4 x 4 is more practical but is not essential). The journey from the house to the port of Adamas where the nearest shops are located takes around 20 minutes. There are however a few restaurants closer on the road (Tarantela). A couple of islanders take care of the house, and its maintenance on a weekly basis during the stay of our guests. If necessary, the engineer who designed the house and the various trades that built it, all resident on the island, are available to resolve technical problems. And, of course, the owners can be reached by email and by phone ...
