No 12 Lovely bedroom and en-suite: Room 1

A lovely, private bedroom with very comfortable king-sized bed and an en-suite shower room in a detached Victorian townhouse. We are within walking distance of the town centre and the station in a quiet, popular location close to a magnificent Georgian park, The Walks. We have private parking, a south-facing garden and ample space to enjoy. There are both stairs and a platform lift to the first floor and most of the house is wheelchair-accessible. A continental breakfast is provided. We have a platform lift to facilitate getting to the first floor. We also have a second double bedroom listed with a private bathroom. Guests are welcome to enjoy our garden (breakfast outside in fine weather!) and relax in the living room, where a desk is available if needed. We are happy for guests to use the facilities in our kitchen. Most of the house is wheelchair accessible. We are happy to chat with guests and have a good knowledge of the local area, or we can leave you to enjoy the house in peace. We are close to the town centre, which is accessible on foot through the beautiful Georgian park at the end of the road. Alternatively, simply take a stroll through the park, look at the old town wall and the 15th century Red Mount Chapel or feed the ducks and enjoy a coffee. Our house is ideally placed to enjoy the annual Arts Festival, the open-air Festival Too and the Fiction and Poetry Festivals. If you're feeling more energetic, take part in the weekly Park Run on a Saturday morning. We have a range of restaurants in the town and are happy to advise on places to go and things to do. If work brings you to King's Lynn, we are within walking distance of the college and town centre and a short drive to the hospital and commercial and industrial areas. Trains from the town take you to Ely, Cambridge and London. The Coasthopper bus service from the nearby station will take you along the coast road to Hunstanton, Titchwell, Brancaster, Burnham Market, Holkham and Wells. Coffee and tea-making facilities are available in your bedroom, as is a television connected by an Amazon Firestick, showing all the major channels and films. There is work-space available in the bedroom. Further information on accessibility is plentiful - please ask! We have additional rooms and an additional private bathroom which can be available - details on request. We can supply a travel cot, sheets, a stair gate, chair adaptor and bowls, spoons, toys etc.
