Idyll by the sea 25 minutes outside Oslo. Living room and bedroom in a classic white painted log house on beautiful, car-free Brønnøya. 2 miles from Oslo by bus, train or car. Cable ferry over Vendelsundet (3 minutes). Own entrance to newly renovated living room and bedroom with sea view and 2 beds. Own brew with two kayaks that can be used by appointment. It is great to paddle between the islands in the fjord. Natural plot around the house. Many trees that loves hammocks. Brønnøya is located in the Oslofjord. The island is a nature reserve and is peaceful and beautiful. Here are great hiking areas for walking, cycling or kicking in the winter when everything is white and untouched. Close to Sandvika and Oslo, which can also be reached by boat during the summer. Here is a bustling boat- and badlife, with beautiful public beaches all around the island. The house overlooks the sea and has a private pier which we share with three other families and which the tenants can use. Here we have two kayaks that can be borrowed by arrangement. The house itself is newly renovated and delicate, with open and bright rooms. The rental area consists of two rooms. A bedroom with 2 beds and a small living room with separate exit. The property is a large natural plot. Here are grass, trees, wild flowers, reefs, deer and many other beautiful creatures, but no lawns. There is a small seating outside, and otherwise large trees for hammocks and space enough for a tent if you want to sleep outside. In the house you have 2 rooms. One bedroom with two single beds and a small living room with sofa and a small table, plus a wicker chair. There is a door between the bedroom and the small living room. Between the living room and the rest of the house there is a curtain. There is a kettle and tea and coffee in the room. Otherwise, a shared bathroom with bathtube and access to kitchen by arrangement. There is a separate entrance to the living room and the bedroom. Bath and toilet are in the main part. I'm in the house and is available if there should be anything, but otherwise I will allow my guests to be at peace. Brønnøya consists of detached houses and cabins, and is car-free. Here is a rich wildlife. The island is a recreation area for people in Oslo, Asker og Bærum. Daily transport: It is busses to Oslo every hour, some direct, some corresponds with other busses and trains in Sandvika. Sandvika is also sentral for trains and busses going to places further south. Airport train: From Sandvika the Flytoget goes directly to Oslo Airport Gardermoen. Advice: Download RUTER Travel Planner on your mobile. Arrival at the island: Brønnøya is a nature reserve and there are no cars here. Arrival is therefore happening in the old way - by cable ferry and then on foot. The island is a nature reserve, and it is not difficult to come here, but it is done the oldfashioned way, because no cars are allowed. It is not far, so you do not need a bicycle, it is quite ok to walk, and I have a handtruck if you have a lot to carry. It is like this. You can park on the parking spot behind the busstop on the neighbour island. Then walk 200 meters over a small hill and here you arrive at the ferry. I will meet you there. The ferry is hand-winded and very charming. It is only 100 meters to cross the "fjord". And then it is 5 minutes walk along a dust-road, and two minutes through the wood up to the house. There are no shops on Brønnøya, so it's wise to bring the food you need when you arrive. Nearest shop is located on Nesøya, which is the neighboring island. To get there, go to the cable ferry and take bus number 265 from Vendla a few stops to the Kiwi store. A large shopping center is also located on Slependen, if you take the bus a few more stops. And besides - one of Norway's biggest shopping malls you will find in Sandvika, at the bus station, next to Sandvika Train Station.
