Perfect for your romantic weekend away !! We look forward to welcoming you to our cabin, our home and our lovely town. We are in the heart of the town. Just 2 minutes from the station and 10 minutes from the High Street. Everything you might want from Lewes is a short walk away. Our Cabin is a unique and lovingly crafted space. In the main area is the raised bed, with sumptuous mattress, feather and down duvet & pillows and French linen sheets. You have a sumptuous continental style breakfast (orange juice, home made granola, home made muesli, Greek yoghurt, fresh raspberries & blueberries, sourdough toasts, jams, marmalade, real or instant coffees and English & herb teas) for you to have at your leisure. The kitchenette has toaster, kettle, fridge, microwave and Belfast sink. Crockery, mugs & glasses are on the shelves and In the drawers you'll find some kitchen utensils. There is a pull out table, chairs and double seating. The en-suite shower room is well appointed and we provide free quality toiletries & luxury cotton towels. There are lots of lovely little touches doted throughout the cabin. Relax and curl up next to the wood-burning stove and enjoy the views of the garden, or rest on the outdoor deck. The Cabin is well appointed and has everything you need for your stay. It is cosy (think a bit bigger than a Shepherd's Hut) and has lots of storage. It's a two night minimum stay at the weekends & Holidays. The Cabin is totally self contained, with everything you need for a cosy and comfortable stay. It is located at the top of our garden and access is through our super clean little house. We are very easy going - just come and go as you please. We are almost always here to greet you and show you up to the cabin. On the rare occasions we can't be around, we have a key-box so you can access anytime. We will be on hand to greet you at our front door and show you up to the cabin. If by any chance we can not be around or your arriving very late, we have a keybox outside. We are on hand if you need anything, but do just come and go as you please. We're really easy going. We are so close to Lewes station - it is literally just two minutes (yes - I've timed it !). If you come by car, we can help you with car parking. We overlook the beautiful Grange Gardens, and Southover Grange (handy for weddings there) is close by. It is just a 5 minute walk to Anne of Cleves House (Henry V111's fourth wife), the Castle, the medieval High Street, numerous lovely shops and cafes. It's a 15 minute walk to be out of the town and up onto the surrounding downs and into stunning countryside and a 20 minute drive to the beach and seaside. Glyndebourne, the world famous opera house , is just a ten minute drive away. Numerous lovely places to walk or drive to in the South Downs National Park and beyond to the coast (20 minute drive) Parking in nearby streets is 60p per hour from 9 till 5 Monday to Saturday and a space is almost almost always available within a couple of minutes walk of the house. If your staying for the majority of the day we can provide you with an all day parking permit . and by train ........ Brighton is 17minutes on the train Gatwick is 35 minutes London Victoria is 65 minutes Eastbourne is 24minutes We can almost always accommodate early or later check ins for Glyndebourne or weddings etc
