Today the hotel 'Zur Post' is the oldest existing inn of the town. Once its name was 'Zum Kalten Keller' ('cold cellar') and was a well-known meeting point. Not only for the men of 'Kerwelhausen', wich was the district around the church, but also for the numerous visitors of the town.
