18th Century Farmhouse occupying grounds of over 8 Acres in an idyllic rural setting. Approached along a stunning tree lined drive, the house combines traditional features with stylish, contemporary interior design. The property is located 1 mile north of Hockering, which is 6 miles to the market town of Dereham and 12 miles to the historical city of Norwich. A twenty minute drive to the Norfolk Broads, and 45 minute drive to the Norfolk coast, and offers nearby walks and pubs to enjoy. The space You are welcome to enjoy the dining room with open fire, living room with log burner and pool table in games room leading off living room. Explore the gardens and enjoy al fresco drinking and dining, with a fire pit for your use. We can also book for a visiting holistic massage therapist upon request. There are two further double rooms which are listed separately, so if you wish to book for a party of more than 2 and up to 6 then you will need to go to each separate listing. If you require a cooked breakfast I can provide this with 24 hour notice. I can also offer an evening meal, or cater for a dinner party upon request, with notice and an extra charge. Can cater for varying dietary requirements. Neighbourhood overview The house is nestled in the countryside, and adjacent to Hockering Woods, the most ancient woods in Norfolk. There are plenty of country walks, nearby pubs serving good food. We have a small village shop and post office which sells the basics, and major supermarkets are only a short drive away. All supermarkets deliver to our area. Getting around There is a regular bus service from Hockering to Norwich and Dereham.
