Tanglewood is situated off the beaten track, surrounded by open countryside, woodland and overlooking a deer park. This large, private, self contained annex offers luxurious accommodation in three rooms; an en-suite double bedroom, a garden room with log burner, and a lounge opening on to private terrace. Stunning private location in an area of outstanding natural beauty, high in the Chilterns, but only a mile from Henley on Thames (£5-£8 taxi). We live in beautiful countryside surrounded by fields and wildlife. The annex has been recently completed, so everything is new. Offered for rent is the private self contained double height annex, with beautiful views onto the garden and deer park beyond. Your space is 3 large rooms; an ensuite bedroom ( with shower), a comfortable lounge with Sky TV and board games, and a dining area with log burning stove, where breakfast is served. There is no kitchen, but the annex has a coffee machine, microwave, fridge, wine cooler, kettle and toaster. Private entrance and terrace. Continental breakfast tray provided during your stay. Cooked breakfast can be preordered for extra £- ( subject to timing/availability). Please email requests. Due to the nature of the cast iron spiral staircase, sadly this space would not be suitable for children. A secret enclave just outside Henley-upon-Thames. Surrounded by fields with glorious walks straight from the house, the countryside is stunning- we see deer and red kites daily. There are no cars allowed here, it is so peaceful. However within 5 minutes you are in Henley on Thames with its shops, restaurants and cafes. The best of both worlds for a weekend. Easy access for the Henley Royal Regatta, Festival, Rewind, Literary Festival. Booking for Regatta week only - special rates Happy to recommend and book restaurants for dinner. Taxi to/from Henley on Thames £5/£8 (approx 2 miles) Can walk to one pub ( muddy track so bring wellies!)
