Luxury Glamping in the heart of the Peak District! My beautiful wooden pods, Forget-me-not, Woodlandstar and Wild Thyme are suitable for all year round stays. You can explore and go wild or simply relax and take in the outstanding views of the Peak District with wildlife right at your door. Enjoy the luxury of a double bed, en suite bathroom, Under floor heating, T.V and kitchenette. The pods can accommodate couples, families or we can take group bookings. The Woodlandstar pod is dog friendly. Kiss Wood Cabins Luxury Glamping Opening 2018!! Fancy exploring the outdoors? my pods provide luxury with a secluded location in the wilderness . Come and explore the great outdoors and experience what our beautiful Peak District National Park has to offer. Excellent walks, cycling routes and famous attractions near by for both adults and children alike Or for those of you who want to sit back and take in the breath taking scenery from sunrise to sunset our pods let you do just that. The pods have a super comfy double bed, en suite shower room, well equipped kitchenette, dining table and chairs, sofa bed ( perfect for the children), TV , Underfloor heating, plug and USB sockets, patio door, porch with chairs, picnic table and plenty of panoramic views I would recommend that pods are not suitable for 4 adult occupancy due to there size however please contact me for group booking as I have 3 pods available to potentially accommodate 12 guest. The pods are perfect for families with a double bed and a sofa bed for the children. Wincle is a small village with mainly agriculture characteristics it has picturesque views over rolling hills of the Peak District nation Park. We have a Brewery, Fishing lake and dining pub just a 15 minute walk away. The neighbouring villages host lots of country pubs, an ice cream farm, outdoor pursuits, and water sport activities. Our local market towns of Macclesfield, Leek, Buxton and Congleton have a wealth of culture and historic heritage. We are central to famous attractions a few include; Buxton Opera House The Devenshire Spa in Buxton Go Ape, Buxton Pooles carvern Alton Towers and Splash Landings Park Peak Wildlife Park Emma BridgeWater Pottery in Stoke on Trent Chatsworth House, the home of the Duke & Duchess of Devonshire and recently held the first RHS Chatsworth Flower Show Jodrell Bank, the world-famous radio telescope Silk Museums of Macclesfiled National Trust properties such as Biddulph Grange Gardens, Little Moreton Hall, Quarry Bank Mill and Lyme Park. Tatton Park Rudyard lake and small train Whether your a keen walker or just fancy a stroll we are the perfect location for all. We are situated on the Wincle Circuit route and you have instant access to excellent paths of the Peak district, Cheshire, Staffordshire and Derbyshire counties. A few 'best walks' to try while staying with us; Macclesfield Forest Three Shires The Goyt Valley Teggs nose Shuttlingsloe Luds church Rudyard Lake The Roaches, the home of Rock hall, a small dwelling carved into the rock at the end of the Roaches, also home to the Winking Man Cat and Fiddle Cycling routes around Wincle are properly best left for the more experienced cyclist due to the steep challenging nature of the land, but if your up for the challenge bring your bike! However if you want easier routes or bike hire a short drive away you will find Parsley Hay cycle hire in Buxton which has level off road trails. Monsel Trail in Bakewell has great trails and further a field the Derwant Valley and Ladybowers Reservoir is where the famous Dambusters practised the bouncing bomb. Horse Trekking can be booked at Northern field farm at Flash but booking is essential - Pods are located in 80 acres of privately owned farm land - Private woodland - There are 3 pods with individual areas, picnic tables and fire pits but all 3 have a communal space with boundary fence. - Due to the rural location of the farm we recommend a car - Macclesfield train station is 8 miles away with excellent rail links. It has readily available taxis which will cost around £18 and this could possibly be more on public holidays - We are 18 miles away from Manchester airport, hiring a car from here would be preferable. - We have good road links as Wincle is off the A54 - I will welcome you upon arrival to show you your pod and answer any questions you have relating to the accommodation and surrounding area. - The pods are located next to the farm house - There is a private car parking area for pod guest - There will always be someone on site as it is my family farm with 4 generations living here. - Although i don't personally live on the farm i am always available to meet with you or take a call at any point of your stay. This is a working farm so please don't climb on Tractors or Machinery this is for your own personal safety as thing can be very dangerous. We have farm animals so please pick up any litter you have to prevent them getting poorly. Please leave gates as you find them. We don't want any animals escaping. Please don't climb fences as they are often sharp with barb wire to keep animals in and they can collapse easily. You will meet wildlife! We have a large group of wild deer that roam the area so bring your camera. Our wildlife is incredible and your likely to see hawks, birds, deer, rabbits, hares, foxes, badgers and possible the odd insect, spider or field mouse please don't freak out they are all harmless but if you feel like something is bothering you please let me know and we can move them on safely. Please don't leave food or rubbish bags outside the pods as this will attract wildlife such as foxes. Mobile phone signal can be poor due to our secluded location A friendly, well behaved dog is welcome to stay in our Woodlandstar pod. A charge of £10 per dog per night is payable upon arrival. Please keep dogs on a lead outside permitted areas Please be tidy after your dog as dog muck can cause fertility problems in our cows if left in the field A £75 deposit will be taken for guests with dogs in case of damage to the pods.
