Igloo + Aurora Tour for 2 people

A once-in-a-lifetime experience to sleep in your very own igloo! *tour included* Each igloo is hand-built right on the frozen Torne River which has a perfect, uninterrupted view north. This gives you the best opportunity to watch the northern lights dancing in the sky. Igloos are suitable for 2 adults. An overnight igloo booking includes an Aurora Colosseum tour for 2 (with dinner), breakfast the following morning, sleeping bags and winter suits to keep you warm, plus arrival/departure transfers from the Kiruna Guidetur office in town. A short walk away, you will find our beautiful Aurora Camp. The staff at Aurora Camp will show you where the shared toilet and shower facilities are, as well as the wood-fire sauna. Your igloo is a traditional hand-built dome structure. There will be reindeer furs on the ground and sleeping bags to keep you warm. You will have access to shared toilet and shower facilities at Aurora Camp. Aurora Camp is located 12km from the centre of Kiruna. It is in a unique and secluded location by the Torne River, surrounded by the beautiful forest. Note: The igloo booking includes arrival/departure transfers from the Kiruna Guidetur office in town. We offer FREE on-site parking. If you drive your own car/rental to camp, please be aware that due to insurance purposes, the camp staff are unable to assist if you get stuck - please call your insurance company. There is no public transport but you can book a transfer with us at any time for 600 SEK/minivan one way (1-8 guests). Otherwise, in WINTER (15NOV-15MAR) we offer two standard transfers per day for 150 SEK per person. (Aurora Camp to Kiruna City Centre 11:00am. Kiruna City Centre to Aurora Camp 16:30.) Please note: All transfers must be pre-booked. Note: The igloo booking includes an Aurora Colosseum tour for 2 (with dinner), breakfast, sleeping bags and arrival/departure transfers to and from the Kiruna Guidetur office in town. Parking: If you need to leave your car in town, you can park it in the FREE public car space at Luleå Universitet. The office is just a 5 minute walk away. You can also book tours with us! Tours include: snowmobiling, dogsledding, northern lights, ICEHOTEL, Sami village, mine tours, city site-seeing etc. Just ask the staff at Aurora Camp :) Equipment rental available at our office in town such as: skis, snow shoes etc.
