This cozy, adorable cottage is walking distance to Port Townsend's thriving downtown scene. Families are welcome and we have special weekday rates. We offer romantic upgrades by request. This charming private, cottage cozy and centrally located with views of the water. Originally it was designed for small families. We stock a variety of children's games, movies and books. Children 5 or older will love the loft. Couple also enjoy the private nature. We upgrade and transform the space to a romantic getaway on request. Don't hesitate to mention any special need or event, we love to customize the room for fun surprise. Private cottage with separate entrance, bathroom and living facilities. Kitchenette offers sink, mini-refrigerator, coffee maker, grinder, teapot, utensils, microwave and toaster. We can stock breakfast with an upgrade. We love to chat but we also respect our guest's privacy. We are concerned that you have everything you need, so do not hesitate to reach out. Morgan Hill has an amazing view of the Puget Sound and the Cascade mountain range. One of Port Townsend's great treasures, Chetzemoka Park, is a mere 3 blocks away. Houses in the neighborhood are varied and interesting -- creative expressions of nature-oriented homeowners. The Port Townsend Farmers Market (Website hidden by Airbnb) winner of the prestigious Washington State Farmers Market of the Year Award, is less than a ten-minute walk from your door. The market features regionally grown organic produce, line-caught fish and pasture-raised meats and eggs, locally-crafted cheeses and brews, and a whole lot more. Saturday mornings and Wednesday afternoons, April through December. The bus system in Jefferson County is great. However, if you bring a bike, that is the best way to get around town. Especially if you want to experience the Larry Scott Trail. Bike rentals are also available from local businesses. Walking is another great way to experience this eclectic little town. There is a small domestic airport right outside of Port Townsend, but the major one is Seattle-Tacoma (SeaTac) International Airport. It will take approximately 2 hours to arrive in Port Townsend from there if you decide to drive around the Sound or take the Bainbridge Ferry. Please note there is a maximum of three adults for this unit. Additional guests after two are subject to an additional $10 per night.
