Seafront cottage - "Utsikten"

Charlottenberg Strand offers a genuine archipelago experience which is very rare today. The cottage "Utsikten" is offered on a large seafront property bordering a wonderful oak forest, on the south coast of Rindö island in the Stockholm archipelago. Charlottenberg Strand is situated on a large seafront property bordering a beautiful oak forest, on the south coast of Rindö in the Stockholm archipelago. The property has over 100 meters of beach facing directly south, including a newly-built dock. Charlottenberg Strand offers accommodation in the cottage "Utsikten," on a short-term basis. "Utsikten," with 40 square meters (440 square feet), stands high above Ramsö Sound with a panoramic view directly south. "Utsikten" is best suited for up to two adults and up to two children. Guests have access to a private beach and dock area, as well as use of a rowboat and bicycles. There is also a wood-fired sauna boat moored nearby which guests can use for a small fee of 100 crowns per person (based on availability - please reserve in advance). Our family resides on the property, however at a comfortable distance from the cottage... We will gladly meet you upon arrival and answer any questions you may have about Rindö and Vaxholm. The south coast of Rindö is a wonderful area, in the middle of the Stockholm archipelago yet with car and bus access. You can even take the "Waxholm" passenger boats to and from the nearby jetty "Vegabryggan" (15 minute walk from the property) all the way to Stockholm or farther out into the archipelago! Travelling to Charlottenberg Strand is easy! There are car ferries connecting Rindö island with Vaxholm and Värmdö. The ferries are free of charge and operate around the clock. The nearest bus stop is called Rörängsvägen and is 10 minutes walk from the cottage. The "Waxholm" boats stop at the local jetty "Vegabryggan" which is a 15 minute walk. The town of Vaxholm is very close! If you prefer to leave the car at home you can bike to the car ferries in 10 minutes, or take a leisurely stroll in 30 minutes. We may be able to drop you off at Stockholm Arlanda airport for a fixed fee and much cheaper than a taxi. Please send us a request and we will do our best to confirm. Utsikten has four rooms, with a kitchen, veranda with 100 cm sofa-bed, a bedroom with 160 cm double bed and functional ceramic fireplace, and a smaller bedroom with bunk beds. The kitchen is equipped for four persons, with a functional wood stove, electric stove and oven, and refrigerator/freezer. The bathroom is newly renovated, with toilet, shower, heated floor, and washing machine. Utsikten is beautifully situated on a beachfront property with a view over Ramsö Sound. Guests have access to a private beach and dock, as well as use of a rowboat and bicycles. The cottage is best suited for up to two adults and up to two children. The property produces 100% renewable solar energy and is thus completely energy neutral.
