Originally the house was the residence of the Knight of "Gebsattel". It was a lot later when the first patisserie of Wertheim opened by my grand-grand-grand-grand father Carl Faber. At his time appointed "princely patisserie" by his highness Prince Löwenstein. Nowadays still called after my ancestors "Cafe Hahn". Here you will be able to have a good cup of coffee and wonderful selection of cakes and pastry. Also breakfast if you like. You get 20% off if you are guest. Opens at 9:00 o´clock The apartment itself has all amenities. Fully equipped kitchen, TV, WiFi everywhere, 1 double-bedroom and one single-bedroom, bath and shower. Not surprising, there is no elevator. The apartment is suited for a maximum of 3 people. From the apartment you have a magnificent view over the market square. From here you can also easily explore the area. Wine tastings, bike rides, Glasmuseeum aso. You are guaranteed to feel very comfortable and at home here. As one guests once wrote: ....."Thanks once again for opening the home up for us to stay in. It is probably the nicest apartments we have stayed in anywhere in the world." Wertheim is situated within scenic surroundings with vineyards, streams, valleys and meadows. The gateway, an ideal base for a holiday in the beautiful Tauber Valley and Spessart - Franconian wine country. Overlooked by one of the largest stone castle ruins in Germany, you will stay in one of the oldest half-timbered houses. Small squares and narrow streets make the the city unique. Yoe will find 5 Staufer castles nearby, a special attraction. Wertheim is surrounded by 5 star bike paths - the classic-Tauber Valley tour. Comfortable flat routes, little traffic and wonderful river landscapes. E-bike rental station are also available in town. Since spring of 2012, the panoramic hiking trail is awarded 5 stars by the German Hiking Association, in addition you will find numerous other short and hiking trails. The tracks of the pilgrims follow on the "Jacob trail Odenwald-Main-Tauber Valley". The bus takes about 40 minutes to Würzburg. The Busstop is 2 Minutes away. There is also a second double bedroom for a 4th and 5th guest. This room is on the same floor but is separate and has its own door. Equipped with a small kitchenette/washing situation and carpet (if you are allergic to animal hair, the carpet is made of pure wool and kashmir). Please take into account that the bath/shower and toilette is in the apartment. Also do not have to many architectural expectations. Even Johann Sebastian Bach still had 100 years to be born when the building of the house was finished.
