The balcony on the sea front

Originally built for a sea captain in the late 1800s this recently renovated stone house combines traditional style , modern amenities and stunning views of the bay of Itea , Delphi and the surrounding mountains. Located in the heart of Galaxidi it offers enjoyable swimming just a couple of steps away and picturesque walks . With two magic balconies overlooking the sea and the rear walled garden , this charming house is classified as a monument of National Heritage by the Ministry of Culture. The house consists of a ground floor with a modern well equipped kitchen , a bathroom and a dining room whose sofa-bed can transform it into an independent double room. Upstairs there is a hall and three separate bright rooms , nicely decorated with antique furniture . A large living room with a sofa-double bed , a bedroom with two single beds and a library containing an armchair-single bed . All rooms feature large windows overlooking the sea and the garden and are cooled and heated adequately . In the garden there is also a bathroom with shower but no hot water . Guests are welcome to make full use and enjoy all amenities and privileges of the house . The house is located in an idyllic place just on the sea front . Restaurants and bars are a 5 minute stroll away though the house itself is situated away from the noise and bustle . Enjoy pleasant walks through the picturesque narrow streets and the pine forest of Galaxidi . Visit Delphi ( about half an hour from Galaxidi by bus or by car) . To the adventurers there are numerous mountain walks in original off the beaten track villages around Galaxidi . Galaxidi bus terminal is a 5 minute walk from the house . There are regular connections to and from Athens , Delphi and the main cities and villages around. If you have a car you can easily find a parking place outside the house .
