The kitchen boasts a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, hob and oven. All the crockery and pots and pans you’ll ever need. Central heating – underfloor on the ground floor, radiator in the lower ground floor bedroom and an extra heated towel rail in the bathroom. Outdoor grassy area with a drying line for your clothes. There is a decked walk way that goes all the way round The Rowans allowing level access round from the main entrance to the patio doors off the living room. Price includes all linen, towels, gas, electricity, digital TV. The entire cottage is yours for your stay and you have private use of a raised deck area and grass with a clothes line. There are 2 parking spaces for you next to The Rowans. We are in a rural setting with farms all around us. We live next door and are available should you need any information or help during your stay. The Rowans is in South Lanarkshire and is ideal for touring The Scottish Borders, Edinburgh, Glasgow and offers country walks, history and much more. There are a wonderful selection of excellent places to eat, from chippies, an award winning Indian restaurant, cafes, gastro-pubs and hotels. There is a train station in nearby Lanark (4 miles away), but we recommend a car. The Rowans is 4 miles from Lanark and 7 miles from Biggar, both these small towns have supermarkets, petrol stations, doctors and public transport. We would recommend that a car is vital for your stay here.
