The flat is in walking distance to the town centre, Rowley Mile race course and Tattersalls. The July race course is about 20 minutes walk but there is a free bus Shuttle which leaves from the bus stop in the High St 2 hours before the first race. Please go to the jockey club website for more information. The flat is ten minutes from the A14, A11, 35 minutes from Stansted and is comfortable and warm. Kitchen fully (Website hidden by Airbnb) No pets. Gated entrance,secure parking. The apartment is on a lovely setting, quiet with well kept gardens and secure parking. The flat is near the High St so some traffic noise will be heard if windows are open. Guests can walk 5 minutes to Tattersalls for the sales. In walking distance you can have good restaurants for relaxing evenings. I will leave food in the fridge for your breakfast. I have recently modernised the bathroom and I have replaced the bath with a long walk in shower. Long term bookings upon request. There are some stairs to the flat. Gardens, parking. For bus to Bury St Edmunds you must go to bus station in town centre.Train station is 15 minutes walk. Newmarket is between Cambridge and Bury St Edmunds, two beautiful places to visit. Anglesey Abbey is 15 minutes drive and Lavenham, a very well preserved medieval town, is 40 minutes away. Ely, with its beautiful cathedral is a must and only 30 minutes by car, although if you have a freedom pass, you can take bus outside the flat.
