“Nanny Goat Rest" is a 1 bedroom former family annex on a working farm. Situated 1.8 miles from the centre of the beautiful village of Abbots Bromley. The property has a private parking area and garden. It has numerous footpaths and cycle routes on its door step and within the beautiful local village Abbots Bromley you will find 4 Pubs, Tearoom's, Indian Takeaway, Butchers and a well stocked village shop . The annex is perfect for short breaks visiting family, friends and business trips. To access the Nanny Goat Rest you enter through the conservatory this is where you’ll find your sitting room/ Dining room and Kitchenette . The Kitchenette consist of kitchen sink and drainer Fridge with top box freezer compartment Microwave Table Top Oven with hob Air Fryer Toaster kettle Egg poaching machine . There is also a TV on the wall. The conservatory has been tinted and has curtains so you are private at all times. The bedroom has 2 comfortable single beds it is not large but has high ceilings and is airy. It has a lockable stable door and the window has a venetian blind and black out curtains there is also a hanging wall rail with small shelf for clothing. The Bathroom has an electric shower newly fitted toilet and sink with vanity unit. The property has central heating in all rooms. The annex has its own private driveway and garden area which is gated and over looks fields. It is right next to a footpath so you may have the odd walker passing. The garden area although gated is not dog proof so please bear this in mind. We welcome 1 well behaved dog, this is working farm with free range chickens and ducks. Bike storage is available by request I am available for any questions or help throughout your stay There are lots of rural walks/footpaths cycle routes around the local area with Blithfield Reservoir and Abbots Bromley Village being only 2 miles away. The Annex is the perfect location to explore Alton Towers, Drayton Manor, Cannock Chase, St George's Park, Lichfield and its lovely Cathedral , Hoar Cross Hall and several National Trust properties. It really is a beautiful part of rural Staffordshire. We would recommend a car if you wish to explore further a field unless your a budding walker or cyclist. Complimentary fresh eggs from the farm will be provided (when available) and duck eggs can be provided on request. No pets in the bedroom at anytime Iron and ironing board available on request We do NOT accept Cats in our property
