Anston Hall - Double Rooms x 2 (booked separately)

Please note that the cost shown is on a per room basis and not for both rooms together. My wife Anne and I have 2 lovely large airy double bedrooms with charm and character and most importantly - very comfy beds. The hall is within easy reach of the Dukeries, Clumber Park, Sheffield, Chesterfield, Rotherham, Doncaster and only 5 minutes from the M1. Chatsworth, Bakewell, the Peak District, Lincoln and York can all be easily reached within an hour of our home. The accommodation is priced on a per room basis but sometimes this is not clear on the airbnb software. If you are in any doubt as to the total cost please let us know and we will sort this out for you We also have 3 lovely dogs who are all rescues (a labrador cross, a cocker spaniel and a border collie) who share our home - or do we share theirs! - If you are allergic or averse to dogs, even sloppy ones like ours you need to consider this. There are 2 large double rooms which can easily accommodate 4 people The beds have top quality Hungarian goose down duvets or hypoallergenic duvets. Provided is a breakfast of toast, juice, yoghurt, coffee / tea as requested but you have full access to the kitchen if you want to whip up a special treat yourself. Anston Hall is set in its own private grounds, it is quiet and secluded but close to local amenities and only a few minutes away from the M1, M18 and the A1 too. On site parking is included within the price of your stay. Guests will have access to the gardens and communal gardens, their rooms, the kitchen and the bathroom which has a claw foot bath and modern hot shower. If you are staying in you are welcome to use the kitchen and cook something. DOGS We accept dogs on the basis that if your pet has an accident you let us know immediately so that we can get it cleaned up before it becomes a problem. Any damage - scratches to furniture, chewing etc caused by your pets is expected be brought to our attention and paid for by the guest We want you to feel at home when staying with here so please ask us anything and we will try our very best to help. We live in a large part of a converted country hall on a private estate. The part of the hall that we live in dates from 1840 and has large beautifully proportioned rooms, high ceilings, sash windows and a modern shared bathroom which has been done in a Victorian style. The family who lived here in the 1800s won the contract to provide the stone for the rebuild of the Houses of Parliament after it had burned down. The part of the hall you will be accommodated in was built at the same time as the rebuild in London. During our renovation of the property we found a hidden staircase and things like old cigarette packets and sheet music hidden under floor boards. This is a lovely part of the country with lots of green space for walking. There is a large park just across the road which is ideal for a leg stretch after your journey Anston Hall is only 5 minutes away from the M1 but you won't ever hear it. Sheffield is 30 minutes, as is Doncaster, Chesterfield and even Sherwood Forest. There are buses from the end of the road and a rail link about 4 miles away. I'm a professional photographer and Anne is an accountant and we have structured our businesses so that we can work from home most of the time so we will normally be on hand to answer any questions you have. Please note that the dogs will love you to bits when you arrive but then treat you like one of the family - which is to pretty much ignore you unless you have food in your hand.
