Cosy Single Room in Creative Suburb of Birmingham

A city stay in a peaceful suburb of Birmingham, just 3 miles from the city centre. I have two rooms available for guests in my home. The rooms are situated at the back of the house overlooking terraced gardens for a peaceful stay This link allows you to book the Single Room: A comfortable and snug, newly renovated top quality single room. The room accommodates a single Ikea day bed, allowing it to be both your comfortable bed, and relaxing sofa like area with cushions, drawers for storage, under bed storage, shelves for more storage (there's a surprising amount of storage space in there!) a hanging rail, mirror and bedside table which features wireless charging, simple necessities for a comfortable retreat from work. Whilst the room is small (2.3m x 2.2m), there is everything you need for pitstops and relaxation and it feels really cute and snug. The second bedroom can be booked if available via my other listings link and is as follows: A comfortable double room The room accommodates a double bed, drawers for storage, a hanging rail, bedside tables and a chair, bureau, simple necessities for a comfortable retreat from work. The bed is really comfy! *firm mattress (people say it's So comfy!) You are welcome to use the rest of the house, play the grand piano at reasonable hours (!) or any of the other instruments, and enjoy the garden during your stay. There is space allocated for your stay in cupboards and in the fridge and you will have a welcome basket on arrival with such things as tea, coffee, sugar, fresh milk, cereal, tunnock (if you're lucky!), jacket potato and baked beans, to settle you in on your first night. Also random arrival times can often be accommodated where work affects your timings. Lovely clean and tidy house, modern fitted kitchen and recently renovated bathroom. The house has 2 bathrooms for ease of use. The upstairs bathroom with walk in shower, sink, toilet and underfloor heating (renovated February (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) is for the sole use of guests during your stay, so it can be your private bathroom (or shared if there is one other guest). We also have a downstairs bathroom, with shower over bath, sink and toilet which is for our private use but if both rooms upstairs are booked and there is a clash of bathroom schedule with the other guest, please ask and you can use the downstairs facilities when necessary. There is wifi of course, as well as instruments. But far prefer the latter. I am a professional pianist and piano teacher so the house welcomes musical and theatre professionals and our tendency for less than regular working hours. Please note, I do teach piano from home Mon/Tues/Wed/Fri 4pm to 8pm or thereabouts so bear this in mind if that is not suitable for your timings. Smokers welcome but in the garden only please. The house is situated on a quiet street in Bearwood, Birmingham with plenty of on street parking directly outside. It’s a convenient location for all local theatres. Less than a minutes walk from Bus Stop for: (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) busses which go directly into town/Paradise Circus/Rep/Birmingham Conservatoire/Central Library etc. and about 10 minute walk to Bearwood high street for the no.11 and many other bus routes, all convenient high street shops/supermarkets. Local taxi companies and a journey in to town is about £7-£10. Lots of great local restaurants and takeaways too! Beautiful park Warley Woods and golf course is just 50 paces away. This is a huge and most amazing park. I love it. There is a golf course, and you can get a great all day breakfast here too! Gym and swimming pool also at the end of my road. Just invested in a steam cleaner. So your room will have a steam clean and airing prior to your arrival :) Please note also, there isn't a shaving wall socket in the bathroom. We have recently opened up our home as a public Art Gallery hosting small intimate events such as exhibitions and gigs. So the house is busy with artistic projects but we will always give notice of a weekend gig, all of which quieten down around 10pm. As we live in the house, we are around if you need any help with anything, but equally happy to leave you to your own space and time. Bearwood is a lovely area of Birmingham, with lots of local convenience shops and and award winning park! It's easy to get to the city centre from here, lots of buses pass frequently through Bearwood, there's easy parking on the roadside if you're visiting with the car, or taxis to the city cost about £8.
