Delightful, purpose-built (finished May 2019) self-contained annex flat within the New Forest National Park. Beautifully decorated, solid oak beams and very high-quality fixtures & fittings. Off-road parking leads to courtyard and own front door. Fully fitted kitchen and breakfast bar, light & bright sitting area with double French windows on to courtyard. High-ceilinged bedroom with features of oak beam and gable window (plus 2 other windows) leading to large, modern shower room. Stunning! We're just a few minutes walk/cycle from Ashurst New Forest railway station, so ideal for those of you who want to bring your bike and/or walking boots for a really relaxing car-free break. Brand new, super-comfy Hypnos Deluxe king-sized bed and anti-allergy pillows. All new, high-quality furniture throughout (with exception of solid wood coffee table!). Please note: the high gable window in the bedroom does not have a blind so total blackout is not possible but the tree-lined driveway ensures it is dark. Whilst we are set back well off the road, we are on the main A35 (so very convenient!). At peak travel times muted passing traffic noise can be heard in the background but it is not obtrusive, however you can hear the occasional ambulance or fire sirens as they pass through the village. Sole access to the whole of the new extension. Own front door. Private parking space (for small/medium car) and/or plenty of main drive parking for larger cars. We will meet you on arrival to welcome you and answer any questions. We live in the main house. Ashurst village is in the beautiful & historic New Forest National Park. It has three pubs, three takeaways, two cafes and a convenience store. Lyndhurst, the 'capital of the New Forest' is a 5-minute drive away. We are on a main bus route either into Southampton or alternatively through the New Forest to Lymington. There is also a train station (Ashurst New Forest) with regular trains to London and to Bournemouth/Dorset in the opposite direction. Ashurst has cycle paths and there are walking/cycling paths & tracks that wind through the New Forest just behind the house. Many apologies but the annex flat is not suitable for dogs.
